Tasty Tuesday

Greetings friends,  Thanks for dropping by to visit.  I think I am liking this blogging thing.  I love sharing ideas with you guys.  Ann thanks for letting the others know about my blog.  Blogging gives me the chance to tell you about ideas I see, come up with, and want to share.  I hope you get as excited about making them as I do.  I want to share this passion with others that share it with me.  That would be you!

Today I want to share a cool idea from DIY*DISH, they were featured in 'Where Women Cook' Magazine.  It is a place for friends to find new things and ideas.  Fabulous fabric link too for those of you that quilt and sew.

Here is the link: http://www.thediydish.com/2011/09/create-your-own-my-girlfriends-breakfast-club/

What it entails is that we gather groups of friends, make a DIY project, and of course, EAT! So each issue of the magazine will include photographs of the event, the project, and definitely the breakfast recipes!  The Fall 2011 issue is on news stands now.  They also outline a 9-step guide for creating your own “Girlfriend’s Breakfast Club”. It would be great to get together with old and new friends, creating, laughing, eating, and enjoying one another’s company.

Cool thing is all the projects will be free to download on their site.
The first project is this super cool apron — appropriately called, “My Girlfriend’s Breakfast Club Apron.”

Download your free apron pattern here.
Fabric kits for the aprons are found here.

I hope you enjoy this project, let's make one and wear them at our next retreat!

Thanks for dropping by.  Until tomorrow.
Jackie

  1. Already downloaded the pattern. I am so into aprons. Hmmm...have to put my thinking cap on to come up with a memorable apron.
